Watervliet Jr. – Sr. High School’s Report Card Night originally scheduled for tonight, Thursday, Nov. 15, is being postponed due to the weather forecast. The new date for Report Card Night is Tuesday, Nov. 27 from 6-8 p.m.
Please Note: The Grade 9 Pivot Parent Program also scheduled for tonight at 5:30 p.m. is rescheduled for Nov. 27.
Communication and collaboration are key. Please take a few minutes to join us on Tuesday, Nov. 27. Collaborative opportunities like this, between students, parents, and teachers, can help continue, establish or spark your student’s academic success this year. Report Card Night is just one such opportunity to pick up your child’s report card as well as meet with teachers to briefly discuss your child’s progress and the quality of work.
Unfortunately, the amount of time (two hours) does not always lend itself to discuss more serious concerns. However, if you feel the need to continue the conversation and develop an improvement plan, you are welcome to set up an additional meeting to do so. If you cannot make the event and have concerns, please contact the teacher and/or their school counselor by email (which can be found on our website).
First quarter report cards will not be mailed or sent home with students unless the student has a note from a parent or the parent has called the office to make other arrangements. However, please note all reports are accessible via Parent Portal.
