WES Cabin Fever Day recap

All K-5 classrooms participated in the activity, which included a video, a class discussion and students creating their own “My Identity” charts to define aspects of their identities, such as culture, family, interests, talents, and other traits. Students could draw, write or color the charts, which were later collected and displayed in the hallway outside classrooms.

Students also participated in board games, a grade-level trivia contest, reading, dance parties and other fun activities to bid good-bye to winter and prepare to welcome spring!

A favorite Cabin Fever Day tradition continued as well, with students dressed in their comfiest pajamas and staff members in their warmest flannel shirts for the school day.
