Attendance and participation at our Welcome Back Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 7 surpassed prior years, despite a downpour in the afternoon. Over 1,000 students, families community and staff members experienced a fun afternoon of carnival games, face-painting, twisty balloon sculptures, a bounce-house, a giant inflatable obstacle course, a birds of prey exhibit, an interactive double-Dutch jump presentation, a dance demonstration and so much more! We appreciate our student helpers and the dozens of teachers and staff members who volunteered to run the games and activity booths and prepare food. New assistant principal Mike Lopez and math teacher Michael Dempsey were great sports each taking a plunge (or two) in the dunk tank! Thank you to our maintenance crew for their support with set up and clean up before and after the event.
