Watervliet 8th and 9th grade students had an opportunity to meet with dozens of industry and business leaders during Career Jam 2022 at Siena College. The event on June 9 brought students from around the Capital Region to learn about the diverse career paths available here in the 518.

Students participated in interactive activities designed to pique their interests and raise awareness of careers available in the skilled trades and STEM pathways. Watervliet was among the 20 school districts that sent students to the event. Another Career Jam is being planned for the fall at Hudson Valley Community College.
