The Watervliet Elementary School will open its doors to parents and guardians on Tuesday, September 20, and Wednesday, September 21, for Meet the Teacher Night. Parents/guardians of grades 1-5 students will see and hear about the district and building-level goals, expectations, and protocols for the 2022-23 school year. Please check below to find the date and time based on your student’s grade level.
The evening will open with a greeting and message from the WES administration from 5:30-6 p.m. This message will be streamed into all classrooms and recorded for families who cannot attend. This recording will be shared via the website and ParentSquare by Friday, September 30.
Grades 1 & 2: Tuesday, September 20, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Grades 1-2 teachers will be available to introduce themselves and provide a glimpse of classroom expectations and routines.
Grades 3, 4, & 5: Wednesday, September 21,
5:30-7:30 p.m.
Grades 3-5 teachers will be available to introduce themselves and provide a glimpse of classroom expectations and routines.
Please Note:
Because kindergarten parents/guardians recently met their child’s teacher during orientation on Wednesday, August 29, kindergarten teachers will not be present. However, parents/guardians are welcome to stop by their child’s kindergarten classroom from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20 to see a showcase of student work and learning taking place this year. Parents and guardians will also have an opportunity to leave a special note for their child’s return to school the following morning.
