Based on the latest guidance from the New York State Department of Health, we will no longer require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test to attend graduation on Friday, June 25 at 6 p.m.
In the interest of the health and safety of our graduates and their families, we will continue to follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for wearing masks and social distancing during the ceremony. Graduates will still receive four tickets each for guests to attend the ceremony. This will allow for appropriate social distancing while offering the Class of 2021 the opportunity to participate in the longstanding tradition of graduating on campus.
Watervliet High School Principal Ryan Groat invites Class of 2021 parents and guardians to participate in an informational meeting on Monday, June 21 at 6 p.m. to answer questions. The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. A reminder and a link to the Zoom meeting will be shared with families one hour prior to the meeting.
