Current eighth graders interested in getting on the fast track to a high school diploma, earning a no-cost college degree in a high-tech field and being first in line for a job with industry partners should consider learning more about Capital Region Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH).
P-TECH is an engaging, four- to six-year program (grades 9-14) that prepares students for future careers in the field of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) through hands-on, project based learning. Depending on their interests, students will study at one of two Capital Region sites beginning their freshman year and remain there for the duration of the program. Each site offers a distinct pathway that leads to an associate’s degree from a neighboring college in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Cybersecurity. As a Capital Region PTECH campus, Watervliet students are eligible and highly encouraged to apply!
Recruitment is underway now for September 2019 with applications due by January 28, 2019.
