One of our top priorities at Watervliet Elementary School is to provide a safe environment for children. It has been brought to our attention that the drop-off circle in front of the school on 10th Avenue is becoming less and less safe as many families are allowing children to run around unsupervised and not following the procedures we have in place.
Children are expected to be at school by 8:30 a.m. Please remember there is no adult supervision at school prior to this time. Parents/guardians who arrive before 8:30 a.m., when the elementary school opens, must remain with their children to provide adult supervision while on school property. We expect that parents/guardians will adhere to this protocol to keep children safe and to be considerate of others. We appreciate your help with this. Thank you!
