EVOLVE students mark first quarter successes

Families and students gathered round tables with plates of food Family, friends, teachers and administrators gathered at the Watervliet Civic Center to celebrate students in our EVOLVE program and recognize their efforts and successes at the conclusion of the first marking period. The students and their guests enjoyed a celebratory Thanksgiving meal of turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, and other fixings – some of which was prepared by the students themselves!

Director of Educational Programs & Accountability Kirsten DeMento was joined by Coordinator of Student Support Services Rebecca LaForest and Family Counselor/Family Opportunity Center Coordinator Danielle McKee to distribute certificates to students who achieved honor roll or high honor roll during the first marking period. A dozen EVOLVE students were recognized for good attendance – and one student had perfect attendance!

We are so proud of all of you. Keep up the effort and the great work!
