The meeting opened at 7:40 a.m., with President Senecal officiating.
Appointment of District Clerk Pro Tem
On a motion by Sheri Senecal, seconded by Heather Soroka and unanimously accepted, the Board approved the appointment of Dr. Donald Stevens Jr. as District Clerk Pro-Tem for the purpose of taking the minutes of the meeting.

First Reading of Revised Policy:
- Workplace Violence Prevention Statement
General
On a motion by Sheri Senecal, seconded by Mary Beth Whited and unanimously accepted, the Board approved the 2024 – 2025 BOCES Administrative Budget in the amount of $14,618,385, as recommended by the Superintendent.
On a motion by Sheri Senecal, seconded by Mary Beth Whited and unanimously accepted, the Board elected following candidates to serve on the BOCES Board of Education, as recommended by the Superintendent:
- Ms. Lynne Lenhardt, Bethlehem School District
- Ms. Kimberly Tully, Niskayuna Central School District
On a motion by Sheri Senecal, seconded by Mary Beth Whited and unanimously accepted, the Board waived a second reading and adopted the following policy, as recommended by the Superintendent:
- Workplace Violence Prevention Statement
On a motion by Sheri Senecal, seconded by Mary Beth Whited and unanimously accepted, the Board adopted the document outlining the Watervliet City School District Workplace Violence Prevention Program, as recommended by the Superintendent.
Adjournment
On a motion by Heather Soroka, seconded by Mary Beth Whited and unanimously accepted, the Board adjourned the meeting at 7:41 a.m.
