Assistant Superintendent of Schools Kelly Webster and Assistant Principal Michael Foust joined science teacher Claudia Bunting Marshall on Friday to present awards and prizes to students in recognition of their hard work and their success during the first quarter interim. More than a dozen eighth graders who earned a 90 average or above in science received achievement certificates and a wristband, while several others received a certificate and a button for the effort they have made in class during the first five weeks of the school year.
